Job description

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to help strengthen and modernize public cloud security across GCP, Azure, and AWS. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape secure cloud deployment patterns, advance policy-as-code practices, and support enterprise CSPM efforts in a collaborative, security-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and publish secure cloud architecture standards and reference patterns for common deployments across public cloud environments
  • Build reusable Terraform modules and automation to help engineering teams adopt secure-by-default practices
  • Design, test, and maintain policy-as-code libraries to automate cloud security controls and compliance
  • Support the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing improvement of CSPM capabilities, with a strong focus on Wiz
  • Partner with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to identify risks and drive remediation efforts
  • Create scalable automation and security controls that improve governance and reduce operational risk
  • Contribute to secure cloud remediation strategies while minimizing disruption to existing environments
Skills
  • Current Google Cloud Professional certification
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform in enterprise environments
  • 3+ years of production Terraform development experience in complex environments
  • Proven experience writing and maintaining policy-as-code using Open Policy Agent (OPA)
  • Experience building reusable policy libraries
  • Hands-on experience with Wiz for cloud security posture management and remediation
  • Strong scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, or similar languages
  • Solid understanding of cloud and on-premises networking, IAM, compute, storage, databases, and SDN
  • Ability to analyze technical issues, work independently, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting Azure and/or AWS environments
  • Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions, or Atlantis
  • Background combining infrastructure engineering and cloud security
  • Experience evaluating or implementing enterprise cloud security tools and automation frameworks
  • Comfort working in Agile environments and collaborating across multiple teams
