Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technologist / Point-of-Care Lab Technician to perform laboratory testing in a mobile setting. This role involves handling specimens, performing diagnostic tests, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting while maintaining quality and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform point-of-care lab testing (Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, etc.)
  • Collect and process specimens (venipuncture & capillary)
  • Ensure quality control and accurate reporting of results
  • Enter patient data and test results into lab systems
  • Monitor STAT testing turnaround times
  • Maintain lab equipment and troubleshoot basic issues
  • Assist with inventory and documentation compliance
  • Operate/drive mobile lab unit when required


Requirements:

  • Valid California license (MLT, CLS, or LVN required)
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Experience in lab testing and/or phlebotomy preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities
