Primary Responsibilities

Candidate will support advanced technology radar product development and software delivery. This includes negotiation of the agile backlog priorities, schedule estimation based on agile team velocity, presenting progress to customers and negotiating schedule changes and content impacts, and interfacing with lab IT to ensure the development toolchain is in good working order.

In this role you will work closely with a highly collaborative development team primarily in a lab environment. Two separate CI/CD pipelines must be maintained: one in a cloud environment and one in a lab environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited school with a strong demonstration of the skills listed below plus 12-15 years of experience in software development project management. A working knowledge of C++ is required, but this position does not require direct code development.

Must have excellent teamwork skills and possess and show good fundamentals in the following:

  • Jira agile boards, backlogs, and reports

  • Agile practices like scrum, iterations, and schedules based on team velocity

  • GitLab CI/CD Pipelines

  • Familiarity with Modern C++ development

  • Familiarity with Unit Test development

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess and maintain a Final Secret Clearance.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL, area

Preferred Qualifications

Additional skills in the following is preferred, but not required:

  • Jira

  • GitLab

  • Google unit test

  • Previous military experience
