Primary Objective: In broad terms, briefly state the major purpose of primary objective of this position.
Gather in process samples and perform routine physical property testing to ensure compliance with ASTM & customer standards.
Major Function and Scope: Using brief narrative statements, describe each major function of responsibility explaining the scope of the function as appropriate.
Performs quality control testing on production samples to provide real-time feedback on operation efficiency, product quality and compliance with ASTM specifications.
Responsible for accuracy of tests, storage of data into database such as excel and quality control software Infinity QS.
Safely utilizes testing equipment such as table saws, press, & furnace
Responsible for personal safety, participates and complies with site's safety management system.
Assist manufacturing to ensure that all startups and quality changes meet quality standards as defined by the production specifications and quality requirements.
Keep measurement equipment in good working order.
Maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
