Food Court Sanitation Specialist

Location: 3300 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA

Salary: $14.00-$15.00 per hour Weekly Pay

Employment Type: Hourly, Full Time

Summary:

Our sanitation crew members are a non-tip position who maintain all areas of the food court, both in front and back of house, to keep in a clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Cleans/mops floors and applies floor drier.
  • Cleans all equipment.
  • Maintains the sanitation area
  • Cleans break rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, and other work areas.
  • Cleans and picks up trash in parking lot, exterior building, landscaping, and dumpster area.
  • Dusts furniture and equipment.
  • Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empties and cleans wastebaskets and ashtrays, inside and out.
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies.
  • Replaces light bulbs.
  • Stocks and rotates stock.
  • Unloads delivery truck and put away stock.
  • Arranges boxes, material, and other equipment in neat and orderly manner.
  • Cleans lint, dust, oil, and grease from lobby areas and production/retail areas.
  • Scrubs processing tanks and vats.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Must have valid SNHD Food Handler's Card (NV Health Card)
  • Able to successfully pass background investigation, pre-employment personality screening, and drug testing
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Education/Experience:

Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between English words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences in English.

Math Ability:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Other Requirements:

Commitment to teamwork, a clean, professional appearance, and enthusiasm; a desire to take on more responsibility.
