Cleared American Guard (CAG)(Fort Meade)
Job Description
Kwaan Tech, a subsidiary of Cape Fox Facilities Services, is seeking an experienced Cleared American Guard (CAG) to support a new opportunity. Responsibilities include:
  1. Provide security for facility and receive accessories being shipped from Commercial/Manufacturer Facility Plant Location to the project construction sites. Security shall be provided throughout unloading and installation activities. Coordinate with COR, FSO/SSO/SSM/AO, manufacturer, contractor and stakeholder for transit security and procedures.
  2. Shall ensure all requirements of ICD/ICS 705, CSP and transit security plan are adhered to during shipping activities.
  3. Perform access control functions at all vehicle and pedestrian entrances to the Secure Construction Site (SCS) and/or Secure Storage Area (SSA) during hours of operations.
  4. Screening all workers, vehicles, and equipment entering or exiting the SCS and/or SSA in accordance with the Construction Site Plan (CSP).
  5. Denying introduction of prohibited materials such as explosives, weapons, electronic devices, or other items as specified by the Site Security Manager (SSM), Security Project Manager (SPM), and/or Construction Security Plan (CSP).
  6. Conducting random inspections of all site areas to ensure no prohibited materials have been brought on to the site.
  7. Reporting or notifying all suspicious materials or incidents to the SSM.
  8. Monitoring the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV).
  9. Perform other security related duties as required by the SSM such as roving patrols and escorting personnel and/or vehicles.
  10. Operation may involve 24/7 /365 operations to safeguard the SCS.
  11. Carry out opening and closing procedures of the SCS each day as directed by the SSM.
  12. All contractor personnel will maintain a professional appearance.
  13. AII contractor personnel shall have Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) associated with construction projects, complete safety training/briefing as required by on-site GC who is responsible for enforcing safety regulations for the project. PPE, to include, but not limited to properly worn hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, footwear, and outerwear as appropriate for anticipated weather condition.

Job Requirements
  1. Must have an active U.S. SECRET security clearance.
  2. CAG must be certified in accordance with ICD 705 Technical Specifications (Chapters 4.C.3 and 5.E.3). The contractor shall provide a valid completion certificate from a recognized 24-hour training program within the last five years.
  3. CAGs shall have completed training for Project Specific Escort Briefing Acknowledgement.
  4. Must be able to stand, sit, bend, walk, kneel and do other related physical activities for long periods of time.
  5. Must have a solid understanding of the ICD/ICS-705 (version 26 July 2021) as demonstrated by experience gained from working on multiple ICD-705 projects.

The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position ($33.09 per hour for up to 40 hours per week) is comprised of a base hourly rate of $28.00 plus $5.09 per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations.
The above rate represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting.
