Responsibilities to Anticipate/Expect: 

  • Establish and maintain records of Government and Company property in the Oracle Fixed Asset system.
  • Loading and tagging of Government and Company property.
  • Perform locator audits on Government and Company property.
  • Interface with various department personnel and auditors.
  • Interface with other functional areas to assure compliance with FAR and DFAR for Government Property.
  • Perform internal reviews and support Government audits.
  • PMSA audit support including corrective action follow-up.
  • Prepare various reports in a timely manner.
  • Disposition of Government and Company property.
  • Contract close-out oversight.
  • Government and Company material inventory oversight.
  • Monitor and report Property loss of Government and Company property.
  • Perform self-assessment audits at the Tallahassee site including corrective action follow-up.
  • Assist in overseeing all Last Chance Buy inventory including but not limited to transacting Sales Orders, performing cycle counts, performing yearly audits.
  • Assist with the control of GFM including Benchstock items, Furnished Forward Inventory and GFM units returned to TLH for repair.
  • Assist with Timecard audits as necessary.
  • Assist with the preparation and completion of DD250’s and other shipping documents as required.

Position Requirements: 

 Successful candidate will possess the following: 

  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance. Other degrees will be considered with relevant experience.
  • Very strong computer skills: proficient in Excel, MS Word, Web and have mainframe-based system skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather, including temperature extremes
  • Ability/flexibility to work in tight places; climbing and a lot of walking are also required.
  • Ability to perform some manual labor and use hand tools.
  • Candidates should have prior experience with Company or Government Property and experience with Oracle Fixed Assets would be a plus.
  • Candidates should have strong computer skills with ability to perform pivots, sorts, and analysis of large data sets for identification of problem areas.
  • Candidate will be expected to travel to various locations to perform self-assessments and other audit support work.
Candidates will be expected to learn and enforce compliance with FAR and DFAR.
