Job Description

The Delivery Tech loads trucks and delivers products across the state. This position ensures products are delivered to the Dispensaries with outstanding service in a positive and friendly environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides prompt, secure, and professional delivery services.
  • Checks and ensures orders are fulfilled and accurately packed for shipment.
  • Maintains and safely operates delivery vehicles.
  • Uploads documentation of delivery, maintenance, and compliance forms via paper copy or into proper electronic databases.
  • Exhibits polite, professional driving etiquette.
  • Follows specific routes and adheres to industry compliant turn-by-turn trip plans.
  • Performs basic vehicle maintenance checks. (Fluids, tires, damage, engine, and body components).
  • Maintains a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
  • Follows procedures as outlined in onboarding and training.
  • Adapts to frequent/last minute adjustments to daily schedule.
  • Drives if needed 8+ hours and covers 500+ miles per day in all weather and road conditions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain a state marijuana badge and pass a background check
  • Valid Driver’s License with excellent, clean, driving record, CDL experience preferred
  • Familiarity with computer and mobile routing software and mapping programs to navigate and complete deliveries
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Must be able to communicate with GDF Team effectively and professionally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations
  • Ability to work independently and have excellent attendance
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to stay focused
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be a team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Available to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work overtime hours and on-call shifts


Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years commercial driving experience


Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
  • Sitting 8+ hours each shift, bending, squatting, climbing in and out of vehicle
  • The ability to respond quickly to sounds
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
  • The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
  • The ability to work in bright/hot/humid conditions
