Job description

Do you enjoy providing patient support for meal services in a call centre environment? Are you a diligent, compassionate, and positive individual? If so, we would like to speak to you about this exciting opportunity with our client in Calgary. Read on and apply today if you’re interested – hiring is underway!

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for recording patient menu orders and answering any questions related to their dietary needs
  • Comfortable answering and recording phone calls
  • Ensure meal orders are processed accurately
  • Work closely with medical and dietary staff to ensure accurate dietary needs of the patient
  • Maintaining a general knowledge of the therapeutic diets of patients
  • Maintain client confidentiality and discretion of client needs
  • Follow all sanitation and safety protocols
 Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a call centre and/or customer service role is highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Experience in a food service environment is an asset
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor toward clients and staff
  • Ability to manage stressful environments and stay calm under pressure
  • Comfortable using software programs, good computer skills, and typing of 35+ wpm
  • Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
