Join Our Mission:

Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Chaplain to lead and support the Pastoral Care Ministry across our communities. This role provides spiritual leadership through worship services, Bible studies, pastoral counseling, and compassionate support for residents, families, and staff. If you are passionate about serving older adults and helping others draw on their faith, especially during times of illness, transition, and loss, we encourage you to apply.


About the Position:

As a Clinical Chaplain, you will:

Management of Pastoral Care Department; including supervision of Assistant Chaplain and pastoral care staff and volunteers

Plan and lead worship services, including preaching and administering the Sacraments

Develop, teach, and facilitate Bible studies and faith-based activities

Assess residents' and families' spiritual needs and provide appropriate pastoral support

Assist residents and families in using faith and spiritual resources to cope with illness, trauma, stress, and grief

Provide support surrounding end-of-life issues and bereavement

Conduct regular pastoral visits with residents

Deliver worship leadership and pastoral care services throughout Eagle Crest Communities

Build and maintain relationships with local congregations, clergy, and religious organizations

Serve as a liaison between Eagle Crest Communities and the faith community


Requirements:

Completion of one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), and a degree in Divinity, Theology, Pastoral Studies, Religious Studies, or related field from an accredited institution

Endorsement by and good standing with a recognized denominational body

Experience in preparing and leading worship, teaching, pastoral care, and spiritual counseling

Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills


Preferred

Board Certified Chaplain

Experience working with older adults

Experience supporting individuals with physical and cognitive impairments

Skilled in providing spiritual care during illness, transition, and end-of-life situations

Experience supervising staff

Our Wages:
  • Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and credentials
  • 80 hours/pay period
  • Schedule: Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
