Physical Therapist/Chiropractor/Certified Athletic Trainer

Urban Golf Performance (UGP)

Urban Golf Performance (UGP) is a premier golf performance company with a 80+ person team and five state-of-the-art locations in Austin, El Segundo, Orange County, Santa Monica, and West LA.

We operate a fully integrated performance model combining Golf Coaching, Fitness Training, Recovery, and Custom Club Fitting under one roof. Our mission is to deliver world-class results in a five-star hospitality environment.

Position Summary

Are you a licensed clinician tired of the insurance mill and high-volume quotas?

At UGP, you are not just a clinician โ€” you are a Performance Specialist.

As a Recovery Specialist, you will work in a 100% cash-based environment alongside elite Golf Coaches and Fitness Trainers, allowing you to focus entirely on one-on-one outcomes without insurance-driven constraints.

This role bridges clinical rehabilitation and elite athletic performance, serving as the steward of our clients' physical longevity and readiness.

What You'll DoIntegrated Performance Care
  • Perform golf-specific orthopedic examinations and movement screens (TPI-based).
  • Develop individualized "Performance Longevity" plans for golfers of all levels.
  • Deliver high-end recovery sessions including manual therapy, joint mobilization, and mobility work.
  • Collaborate daily with Golf Coaches and Fitness Trainers to build holistic development plans.
Client Experience
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client health, injury prevention, and physical readiness.
  • Provide a five-star hospitality experience aligned with UGP standards.
  • Educate clients on movement efficiency, durability, and sustainable performance.
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain accurate digital documentation.
  • Uphold facility cleanliness and professional standards.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
Qualifications (Required)

To maintain our standard of care, candidates must hold one of the following active credentials:

  • License: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Doctor of Chiropractic (DC), or Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
  • Expertise: Advanced proficiency in soft tissue work and joint mobilization.
  • Mindset: A passion for sports performance and a "client-first" hospitality approach.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Google Workspace and basic digital documentation.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in soft tissue techniques and joint mobilization.
  • Strong understanding of corrective exercise and performance integration.
  • Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certification or CSCS.
  • Passion for sports performance and a client-first mindset.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and basic digital documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certification
  • CSCS or equivalent strength & conditioning credential
  • Experience in a private-pay or high-end sports performance environment
  • Golf background or familiarity with competitive golf culture
Schedule & Location
  • Full-time position (Mondayโ€“Friday or Monday-Thursday & Saturday).
  • In-person at one of UGP's five locations: Austin, El Segundo, Orange County, Santa Monica, or West LA.
