Position Summary:
The intercollegiate athletics program is an integral part of the university strivingto achieve the same standards of excellence in athletics that exist within academic programs. Theprogram is concerned with the physical and mental welfareof the student and strives to ensure that everyathlete has the opportunity to succeed academically and obtaina degree. Sport programsare a vital function of the University at large. This position isresponsible for the assisting in the successful planning, direction andadministration of all aspects of the University's NCAA Division IProgram.
Job Duties:
Assist in developing, directing, and advancing a successful Division I Golf programs.
Assist in the planning and conducting of practice and training sessions.
Assist in development of student-athletes
Lead and motivate student-athletes to maximize their potential.
Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, adherence, and commitment to all NCAA, Conference, State, and Institutional rules and regulations
Assist with the cultivation of a team culture that ensures appropriate and acceptable student behavior.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Combination of Division I collegiate Golf coaching experience preferred
Knowledge of NCAA rules required.
Salary & Timeline:

• $30,000 for the duration
• Position Duration: September 2026 - May 2027
• 29 hours per week

Full-time employees are eligible to receive tuition waiver benefits, as well as dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed at 0.5 FTE or above are eligible for undergraduate dependent tuition grants of up to 50%. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.
