Dunwoody Country Club, a premier private country club nestled in the beautiful suburbs of Atlanta, is hiring! Spanning over 200 pristine acres, our club features a pristine 18-hole golf course, practice facilities, a golf house/barn and a pro shop.

What We Expect

We are seeking a full-time, dynamic, and professional individual to join our Golf Services team. The ideal candidate will have a positive and outgoing attitude, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency in the operation and maintenance of practice areas, golf clubs, and carts. A willingness to contribute to departmental goals, the ability to anticipate needs, and the initiative to take action are essential.

In return, we offer flexible working hours, benefits (to include 100% paid medical premiums, dental premiums, LTD, STD and Group Life Insurance for the employee), hourly wage + tips, state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, and a supportive team of managers and members. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring rotating availability during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

As a Golf Services member at Dunwoody Country Club, you will:

  • Communicate daily with the Golf Professional Staff regarding events and operations; complete daily tasks and checklists assigned by the manager.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for members and guests; assist with handling golf bags.
  • Deliver prompt, courteous service; share golf course and club information; load and unload golf bags from vehicles; clean, restock, recharge, and rotate golf carts on rotating basis.
  • Ensure all areas of the operation are properly attended to, stocked, and cleaned.  This includes (but is not limited to) bag drops, bag room, golf carts, cart barn, practice range, chipping area, putting green and surrounding areas.
  • Retrieve stray carts and push carts as needed.
  • Clean and wash golf carts and clubs according to club procedures; maintain clean towels by washing, drying, and folding them regularly.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of clean range balls at hitting stations; fill baskets in the evening to prepare for the next day’s opening shift; operate the range picker to collect golf balls.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the safe and effective use of golf equipment and facilities.
  • Previous experience in a golf services or similar facility.
  • Commitment to working scheduled shifts.
  • Integrity, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Additional Information

This is an hourly + tips, on-site position requiring rotating availability during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation is essential. Applicants who do not live within a reasonable commuting distance should plan to relocate prior to their start date.
