Job Summary

The Golf Pro Shop Attendant must have excellent attention to detail & standards of cleanliness; anticipate customer needs; and excellent listening skills to be responsive to customer concerns, primarily about the conditions of the golf course and services offered at the golf center and communicate feedback to the golf team in order to provide excellent service. Must demonstrate knowledge in proper handling of money, basic computer programs, and ability to work unsupervised. Must maintain a positive costumer rapport and uphold a high-level customer service. Must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the Brownsville Golf Center and may be required to work additional hours than scheduled, if necessary. Golf Pro Shop Attendant must be neat and well-groomed in accordance to the Brownsville Golf Center and Parks and Recreation Department dress code. The Golf Pro Shop Attendant is responsible in assisting the flow of golfers onto the golf course to ensure customer satisfaction, distributes golf carts for all golfers, and assist in maintaining the Brownsville Golf Center during events and create a safe environment for golfers and guests. The Golf Pro Shop Attendant position reports to the Golf Center Manager.
