Love golf, enjoy working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced outdoor setting? Join the team at Willow Valley Golf Course as a Seasonal Pro Shop Attendant and help create a great experience for every golfer who visits our course. Seasonal position running from September thru May.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer service, staying active, and being part of a team that takes pride in delivering top-notch hospitality-on and off the green.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Pro Shop Attendant, you'll be at the heart of daily golf operations, helping the course run smoothly while delivering friendly, professional service.
  • Welcome golfers and provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
  • Schedule tee times and help manage course flow to keep play moving smoothly
  • Operate the Point-of-Sale system, handle credit card or mobile payment transactions, and prepare end-of-shift paperwork
  • Assist golfers with carts, club rentals, merchandise, and general course information
  • Set up and maintain attractive merchandise displays to promote sales
  • Perform Ranger-style duties, monitoring course activity and assisting with pace of play
  • Support tournaments and special events, including collecting fees and recording scores
  • Stage, inspect, and help regulate golf carts and follow posted cart rules
  • Maintain a clean, professional pro shop environment
  • Assist with course safety, including weather monitoring and clearing the course when needed

What We're Looking For
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong focus on guest experience
  • General knowledge of golf rules and etiquette (or a willingness to learn)
  • Comfort with mobile payment and credit transactions, and basic POS systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work well with guests, teammates, and the public
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to make sound decisions when needed
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Prior golf course or retail experience is a plus (but not required)
  • RAMP Certification preferred; training provided if needed

Physical & Work Environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Active role that includes walking the course, assisting golfers, and supporting daily operations

High school diploma or general education degree(GED); or Golf Management Degree or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a golf operation.
