What is golf maintenance?

Golf maintenance workers are professionals responsible for the upkeep and care of golf courses. Their duties include mowing fairways and greens, maintaining sand bunkers, watering and fertilizing turf, and repairing course features. They ensure the course is in top condition for play and adhere to environmental and safety standards. These workers often operate specialized equipment and work early mornings or weekends to prepare the course before golfers arrive.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in golf maintenance, and why are they important?

To excel in Golf Maintenance, you generally need knowledge of turf management, landscaping techniques, and equipment operation, often supported by a high school diploma or relevant certification.
