INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR: Mat Pilates Instructor
CONTRACTOR RATE: Per contract agreement ($50 - $60 per service/class)
SERVICE LOCATION: In person
The Denver Country Club seeks a Mat Pilates Instructor our recreational Country Club on an as needed basis.
About the club:

Established in 1887, Denver Country Club is recognized as the first club west of the Mississippi and one of the most prestigious private clubs in the country. The 585 member, by invitation only private club, hosts an 18 hole golf course, two indoor golf simulators (Foresight Quads), indoor and outdoor tennis, platform tennis, pickleball, ice hockey, lawn bowling, croquet, casual and fine dining. The club has a long history of golf championships including the Denver Open (PGA Tour Event 1962-1964), Trans-Mississippi Amateur, Pacific Coast Amateur and Curtis Cup (1984). A Golf Course renovation was completed in 2020 - Gil Hanse. The renovation has helped to secure Denver Country Club as one of the premier golf courses in the Western United States. The Golf Shop is consistently recognized as an AGM Platinum Award Winning Golf Shop (Top 100) and has been recognized as a multiple winner of the Colorado Section PGA Merchandiser of the Year - Private Category.

Are you passionate about Pilates and eager to make a difference in people's lives through health and fitness? If you're a dynamic, friendly, and professional Pilates instructor, we have the perfect opportunity for you to shine.
The Pilates Instructor is responsible for providing a comfortable and welcoming environment and being flexible to accommodate the individual needs of participants. Hours for this position vary and may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities include:
  • Develop safe, professional and comprehensive Mat Pilates Class to ensure clients are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals.
  • Pilates Certification Required
Instruction includes mat classes. Interested applicants should submit a cover letter and resume including current certifications, teaching experience and availability.
Experience:
  • Pilates: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
  • Pilates Certification (Required)
  • Valid CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
Requirements for Independent Contractor
  • Must provide certificates of insurance to include worker's compensation insurance required by law and comprehensive general liability insurance that is consistent with industry practices.
  • Must abide by the terms of the contractor agreement between the Denver Country Club and contractor.
