CLOSING DATE: Open until filled. Department will begin reviewing applications on March 11, 2026. Position may close any time after this date. However, applications will continue to be accepted until position is filled.

STARTING SALARY: $13.10 - $18.00 /Hour

STATUS: Part-time (non-benefitted, <29 hours/week)

DEPARTMENT: Parks and Recreation / River Oaks Golf Course

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Requires either two years of golf experience or closely related field or one year of experience with River Oaks Golf Course. Must be at least 16 years old to apply. Requires a valid Learner's Permit or valid Utah Driver's License. Knowledge of effective customer service practices; correct English usage, spelling, vocabulary, and arithmetic; clerical and general office practices, procedures, and equipment; office management; basic accounting; data entry and word processor; effective filing procedures. Tools, machines, and equipment used in the maintenance of golf course facilities and equipment; OSHA safety standards; general maintenance practice and procedures. Great responsibility for the care, condition and use of materials, equipment, and tools; inform Clubhouse Manager of problems that could restrict or deny golf course use. Communicate and work effectively verbally and in writing. Frequent contacts with the public (customers) requiring tact and judgment to avoid customer dissatisfaction. Regular use of golf cards, radio, maintenance tools, including pressure washer, washing machine, dryer, golf cart chargers, ball picker, ball washer, mower, and other golf course maintenance equipment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
