Senior Greenkeeper

As a Senior Greenkeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining the pristine condition of our golf courses and resort grounds. This hands-on position focuses on turf management, landscape maintenance, irrigation systems, and equipment operation to ensure the highest standards of course presentation and playability. Your work helps preserve the natural beauty and championship quality of the Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain golf course turf and surrounding grounds through mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure a clean, professional appearance
    • Plant, prune, and care for grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs to promote healthy growth and enhance landscape aesthetics
    • Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides in accordance with safety standards and best practices for turf health
    • Assist with irrigation system setup, monitoring, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of greens, fairways, and landscaped areas
    • Maintain cleanliness of resort grounds, including removing debris, raking leaves, and keeping outdoor spaces guest-ready
    • Safely operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, and blowers
    • Perform minor maintenance and repairs to grounds features such as fences, gates, walkways, and course structures
    • Support daily course preparation and assist with maintaining the high standards expected of a Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail property
