BARTENDER

STARTING WAGE: 17.13



Elk Ridge Golf Course offers a challenge for golfers of all skill levels, from beginner to expert. This gorgeous, newly re-sculpted links style course offers beautiful hills and forestation, as well as an excellent view of the Columbia Gorge.


We're looking for a skilled bartender for our clubhouse restaurant, Isadore's Kitchen + Bar. An enthusiastic bartender will be able to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. The bartender will be responsible for serving patrons at the bar, monitoring the cash drawer at the bar and performing alcohol inventories at the end of each night to help maintain accurate inventory levels.

Responsibilities


  • Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar patrons

  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks

  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations

  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails according to standard

  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age

  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations

  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer


Requirements


  • At least 21 years of age

  • Proven working experience as a bartender preferred

  • Weekends will be peak busy times so weekend availability is preferred

  • Computer literacy

  • Basic math skills

  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

  • Any required or relevant certifications
