The City of South Jordan is looking for a dedicated Golf Course Maintenance Worker to help care for Mulligans Golf Course. In this hands-on role, you'll contribute to maintaining beautiful, safe, and welcoming outdoor spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy. From grooming turf to maintaining the miniature golf area and driving range, your work will directly support recreation opportunities that bring our community together. What You'll Do:
  • Maintain and improve the appearance of Mulligans Golf Course, including the miniature golf area, driving range, batting cages, and surrounding grounds.
  • Perform routine grooming and maintenance of turf, trees, shrubs, and landscaped areas.
  • Operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and edgers to maintain course grounds and facilities.
  • Assist with installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of low-voltage irrigation systems.
  • Use hand tools including shovels, rakes, clippers, shears, and saws to support grounds upkeep.
  • Monitor the course and facilities for safety concerns and report issues or needed repairs.

Who You Are:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Hold a valid Utah Class D Driver License.
  • Able to obtain a Utah Pesticide Applicator License (Turf & Ornamental) within six months.
  • Comfortable operating landscaping equipment and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • A team player who communicates effectively and takes pride in maintaining high-quality community spaces.
