Description

Beautiful Interlachen Country Club located in Winter Park, FL has part- and full-time opportunities available on our Course Maintenance Team. While experience is desired, we are willing to train the right candidate.


SUMMARY: As a Course Maintenance Technician, you will work on a team of skilled individuals responsible for maintaining the greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and lakes to ensure an enjoyable experience for members and guests alike.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safely operates golf course maintenance equipment including weed eaters, trimmers, walk mowers and others as needed.

Inspects, services, and maintains equipment per schedule including washing after each use, fueling up at the end of each day, and immediately reporting any malfunctions to the Golf Course Mechanic or Supervisor.

Conducts self in a proper manner around members and guests on the course.


AVAILABILITY: Must be able to work early mornings, weekdays, one half day on weekends, and occasional holidays.

Requirements

PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Requires occasional bending, lifting, stretching.

Must be able to work in the heat and sun for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to work well with others as well as independently.

Willingness to learn.
