Join the Providence ExpressCare Anchorage, Alaska team as a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

As a Mission based, community focused service, the clinics provide the perfect work like balance with a 3-day week schedule. ExpressCare serves as a critical access point for the organization, supporting overflow of patients from primary care, urgent care and emergency departments. There is plenty of variety in our services which demand critical thinking and clinic-based procedures, which providers interest in every day. ExpressCare serves the purpose of providing access to our communities, both in person and virtually, while also offering a more predictable day with s schedule of 30 twenty-minute appointments in a 12-hour period.

Although this position offers autonomy in practice with a single provider model supported by a MA, there is a large support structure in place with a larger team connected virtually. Included in the generous compensation package is the potential for a productivity incentive. Ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine, as well as have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and embrace the opportunities to respond to the need of the community as they arise.
