Golf Outside Services Attendant

We are seeking a high-energy self-starter to join our team as a seasonal Golf Outside Services Attendant, where you will provide exceptional service and ensure a memorable experience for all our members and guests. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about customer service and have a keen interest in golf. You will be the face of our club, welcoming guests with a warm and positive attitude while ensuring that all golf-related activities run smoothly and efficiently.

The key responsibilities of a Golf Outside Services Attendant on our team are to:

  • Greet and welcome members and guests as they arrive at the club, offering assistance and information about the facilities and services available.
  • Assist with the management of golf carts, including preparation, staging, and cleanliness to ensure they are ready for use.
  • Provide assistance with loading and unloading golf bags and other equipment, ensuring they are correctly placed on the designated carts.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the golf course, driving range, and surrounding areas.
  • Assist members and guests with any inquiries related to tee times, course conditions, and club amenities.
  • Work collaboratively with the golf shop and other departments to provide a seamless guest experience.
  • Conduct periodic checks to ensure all on-course services meet club standards and report any issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Facilitate the rental of equipment, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory management.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to member and guest requests, offering solutions or escalating issues when necessary.
  • Assist with maintaining and organizing the driving range, including the collection and cleaning of golf balls as needed.

A successful candidate will:

  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
  • Demonstrate the ability to listen to and follow through on requests and instructions.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Be able to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds.
  • Be able to walk varying distances throughout the day, including up and down inclines, sometimes while carrying heavy objects.
  • Be able to work outside in varying weather conditions, including hot, humid weather.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
