Summary of Job Duties:
This position will serve as an operational assistant for our men's golf team. Providing assistance with coordinating travel and practice logistics. This person will also assist our head coaches will day-to-day administrative. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree;
  • At least one year of experience with intercollegiate golf either as player or coach.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Travel to Little Rock men's golf events;
  • Be present at team practices;
  • Assist with recruiting future student-athletes to Little Rock;
  • Assist with development of current student-athletes;
  • Be a role model for current players and always act in a positive manner;
  • Assist with golf course and alumni relationships.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Evidence of the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, parents, community members and students;
  • Ability to receive work direction;
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to further the benefits of student participation in co-curricular activities;
  • Physical ability to perform essential job functions;
  • Must be able to travel for events.
