Member Relations Coordinator

Nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, just eight miles from Portland, The Oregon Golf Club offers a distinctive private club experience centered around its 18-hole championship golf course. Members enjoy a 10-acre practice facility, 12,000 square feet of putting surfaces, tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness center, pool, locker rooms, dining, social events, and versatile meeting and event spaces, all supported by personalized service and exclusive member privileges. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate all member-facing communications, including weekly emails, newsletters, digital signage, mobile app messaging, and printed collateral.
  • Gather seasonal content from all departments, write compelling copy, and promote upcoming club programs and offerings.
  • Design and produce promotional materials (flyers, posters, table tents, cart signs, and other collateral) using Canva or similar tools, ensuring professional presentation and timely distribution throughout the clubhouse.
  • Maintain and refresh all promotional materials and signage; remove expired displays promptly.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors on printed materials, signage, and photography/ videography as needed.
  • Assist with developing and executing marketing strategies to increase member participation in dining, golf, racquets, fitness, and other club programs.
  • Maintain the club's website, mobile app, online activities calendar, and member portal with current events, announcements, menus, and relevant information. Ensuring all digital content is accurate, timely, and aligned with club priorities and brand standards.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all member and guest-facing communications and marketing channels.
  • Lead the club's social media presence on Facebook and Instagram to promote club life, recognize members and team members, and strengthen community engagement.
  • Manage a social media content calendar; monitor engagement and track performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform future content strategy.
  • Capture photos and short-form video content of amenities, member activities, and team members for use across all marketing channels.
  • Maintain communication schedules, marketing timelines, and an organized archive of marketing assets.
  • Attend weekly clubhouse management meetings to stay aligned with club operations, upcoming programs, and departmental priorities.
  • Assist with membership administration, including processing new member paperwork, managing resignations, and maintaining accurate membership records.
  • Maintain and distribute a new Member profile binder to all departments to support personalized service and member recognition.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • High school diploma required: an associate or a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or related field is strongly preferred and may be substituted with equivalent professional
  • experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, hospitality, or a private club environment preferred
  • Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Suite, as well as website, email, and content management platforms.
  • Experience managing social media accounts in a professional or brand capacity; photography and videography experience a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling content for diverse audiences.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new platforms quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Exceptional attention to detail is a must.
  • Solid time management, organization, and prioritization skills; ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Professional appearance and manner required; a gracious, outgoing attitude and the ability to interact warmly with diverse groups of members, guests, and team members is essential.
  • Positive, team-oriented personality with a genuine enthusiasm for the club and its community.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite; familiarity with club management software a plus.
