Description:2nd Shift Guest Service Representative & Night Auditor

Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (2 days a week) & 3:00pm-11:00pm (2 days a week)


Are you a night owl who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating memorable guest experiences? We’re looking for an upbeat, dependable, and service-focused team member to join our overnight crew as a Guest Service Representative/Night Auditor.


During the overnight shift, you are more than just the face of the hotel — you are the calm, confident presence that keeps everything running smoothly while guests rest easy. From welcoming late-night arrivals to balancing the hotel’s daily accounts, every shift brings a mix of hospitality, teamwork, and responsibility.

What You’ll Do on Night Audit:
  • Serve as the overnight “Manager on Duty”
  • Welcome guests with friendly and efficient check-in service
  • Provide warm and professional check-out experiences
  • Answer and assist with incoming guest calls and requests
  • Help guests with reservations, questions, and hotel information
  • Reconcile and balance daily hotel accounts and reports
  • Reset systems and prepare the hotel for the next business day
  • Monitor overnight activity and coordinate with outside security if needed
  • Complete routine overnight operational tasks
  • Ensure every guest feels safe, valued, and cared for
What You’ll Do on Evening Shift Responsibilities Include:
  • Greeting and checking in arriving guests
  • Assisting guests with questions, requests, and recommendations
  • Answering phones and booking reservations
  • Handling guest payments and check-outs
  • Communicating with housekeeping and maintenance teams
  • Helping ensure the lobby and guest areas remain welcoming and organized
  • Delivering exceptional hospitality throughout the evening hours

Requirements:

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Great attention to detail
  • Thorough organizational skills, proficient in accomplishing all tasks
  • Considerable knowledge of computer systems for registration, reservations and backup systems
  • Above average mathematical comprehension to understand and interpret numbers as they apply to operations in hotels
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with employees and guests
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers, some of whom will require a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy, to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts

Education/Experience

  • Comparable hotel size and scope of experience preferred
