Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, integrating evidence-based practices to form individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions via in-person or teletherapy, utilizing techniques grounded in established methodologies to promote healing and growth.
• Collaborate closely with clients to set therapeutic goals, monitoring progress through regular sessions and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
• Document all client interactions accurately and promptly, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Engage in professional development opportunities, such as workshops and training sessions, to refine clinical skills and stay informed about emerging best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele is diverse, encompassing adults and adolescents navigating a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. As a counselor, you will play a critical role in supporting these individuals by providing compassionate care tailored to their specific life experiences and psychological needs.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a safe and empathetic therapeutic alliance with clients to build trust and facilitate healing.
• A compassionate and non-judgmental attitude, understanding the complex nature of clients' experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational abilities and time management skills, allowing you to manage a diverse caseload while efficiently handling associated administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, we value candidates with previous experience in a teletherapy setting, as well as those who have utilized specific therapeutic frameworks, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). An understanding of contemporary mental health challenges and innovative treatment strategies will also be advantageous.
