As aMine Engineer joining our Open Pit Planning Team you will play apivotal role in planning, designing, and optimizing our Open Pit operation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in afar-paced dynamic environment that’s embedded in daily operations influencing daily and weekly outcomes that directly impact safety, production, and cost performance.

Schedule:Monday through Friday |Approx. 6 : 00 am to 3 : 00 pm with FlexFriday
Position Type:Permanent Full-Time

• Develop and execute short-range mine plans aligned with weekly, monthly and quarterly productiontargets
• Partner closely with operations, geology, and drill &blast to optimize ore recovery andmovement
• Generate and reconcile end-of-month (EOM) production data and miningprogress
• Monitor and analyze plan compliance (daily, weekly, monthly) and identify improvement opportunities
• Create bench plans, dig plans, and dump designs to support safe and efficientoperations
• Track and report on high wall, dump, and production performance metrics
• Provide clear and competent direction to operations teams to ensure planexecution
• Drive continuous improvement through data, field presence, and cross-functional collaboration

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or relateddiscipline
• 3 + years of open pit mine planning experience (planning + operations exposure stronglypreferred)
• Hands-on experience with mine planning software (Deswikpreferred, Vulcan or similarconsidered)
• Strong understanding of production environment, drill &blast, and materialmovement
• Ability to balance technical planning with real-world operational constraints
• Sharp analytical thinking with practical, actionablesolutions
• Confident communicator who can influence and alignteams
• High attention todetail

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear andsee.
• Must be able to work shift work with 12 -hourshifts.
• Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during theworkday.
• Work is in asurface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature andhumidity.
• Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in amine environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment asrequired.
