Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is looking for a Lead Golang Software Engineer to develop and code microservices that connect applications with backend systems. The role involves participating in the complete Software Development Life Cycle, coordinating with project stakeholders, and monitoring product health.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and code Microservices to connect applications with backend systems.
• Assist with messaging streams, utilizing core Kafka functions.
• Participate in requirement gathering meeting.
• Be involved in the complete SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) started including requirements analysis, design, development, testing and implementation.
• Create and facilitate test plans/reviews with team.
• Monitor product health and triage/fix functional and performance issues.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings and user story grooming sessions.
• Perform PR reviews and provide comments.
• Be involved in release and deployment-related activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ years' experience working with Golang and JAVA go routines and reflect packages.
• 2+ years building XML Files
• 5+ years of AWS experience
• Possess strong knowledge of common Goroutine and channel patterns.
• Expertise in the full suite of Go frameworks and tools.
• Strong knowledge of Go templating language and code generation tools, such as Stringer.
• Experienced in using code versioning tools such as Git or equivalent.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Event streams such as Kafka
• Experience with database systems (SQL/ No-SQL)
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Basic experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, TeamCity, GoCD, Concourse, etc.)
• Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests.
• Proficiency with Jenkins

• US Citizens, GC, EAD (H4, L2), E3 TN visa holders preferred, NO third party corp to corp accepted for this job
