BAR GOA is a clubby Indian Gastropub in the heart of River North.
Palm trees and waves of electronic music welcome you into Bar Goa where portugese influences meet Indian Flavors. Resort Cocktails with Indian twists are some of the highlights of theunique beverage program. Tropical Vibes and a truly fun atmosphere will create the feeling of being on vacation year round. DJ's on weekend nights play EDM, House and Bollywood.

Our servers work closely with the rest of the staff, both FOH and BOH, to ensure product quality and a thorough understanding of our food and beverage menus, along with inspiration and history in order to tell our story to our guests. Become part of a dynamic, innovative, and heartfelt group of unique individuals!

  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, full-service, upscalerestaurant setting
  • Possess extensive food and beverage knowledge and the passion to learnand master new cuisines and flavors and being able to get the guest excited about it.
  • Able to useToast POS or similar system to process orders and bill.
  • Able to interact with guests in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
  • Anticipatingguests needs and ensuring they have a memorable experience
  • Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the station, the tables and restaurant before, during and at the conclusion of the shift worked.
  • Must have the ability to work a variety of hours, days, and shifts, including weekends and late nights
  • Must have the ability to stand and walk at a steady pace for periods of up to 8 hours or more
  • Must have State of Illinois Basset Certification/Food Handlers Certification
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and legally able to serve alcohol in the city of Chicago
