Frank Beverage Group in Middleton, WI is now hiring a CDL Delivery Driver. The team members of Frank Beverage Group are committed, innovative leaders of the beverage industry through marketing, selling, distributing, merchandising, and servicing quality products to our valued customers. This position involves the physical delivery of beer and/or liquor to customer accounts. Delivery drivers are required to handle products weighing between 30-160 lbs throughout the day, including navigating stairs, ramps, curbs, and other obstacles. Additionally, drivers are responsible for merchandising all beer and liquor products at customer locations.
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-ordered products to various customers within our distribution territory.
  • Unload and transport an average of 800 cases of products daily, with some items weighing up to 160 lbs, at customer accounts.
  • Stock, rotate, and merchandise products, as well as create displays at customer locations.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Ensure accurate product delivery and provide necessary documentation, including invoices and receipts.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Understanding of effective communication strategies across all levels of an organization, including with merchandisers and the sales team.
  • Knowledge of basic math, reading, writing, and English comprehension necessary for completing daily tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be friendly, personable, and approachable.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a focus on maintaining high standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others and work independently.
  • Punctuality and preparedness to begin work on time.
  • Skilled in navigating through traffic and solving problems on the go.
  • Ability to work in cooler environments for extended periods.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
  • Class A CDL License and Fed Med is required.
  • Safe driving record that meets the standards set by the FBG Safety Team.
  • Forklift and electric pallet jack certification required.
Physical Requirement Summary:
  • Ability to regularly lift, move, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds, including up and down stairs, and occasionally lift up to 160 pounds.
  • Capable of sitting for extended periods while driving.
  • Ability to twist, turn, crouch, stoop, and squat repeatedly throughout the workday.
