These capabilities are vital to building robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions that meet business and user needs.

What is a Go Developer?

A Go Developer is a software engineer who specializes in using the Go programming language (also known as Golang) to build applications, systems, and services. Job Description:

Develop and maintain personalized marketing campaigns using Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS) within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

• Leverage AMPscript for advanced content personalization and dynamic scripting in SFMC email campaigns.

• Design and implement API integrations (REST/SOAP), with a focus on MuleSoft or comparable middleware platforms to enable seamless data flow between systems.

• Utilize strong SQL skills for data manipulation, segmentation, and campaign analytics within large-scale data environments.

• Integrate and manage MobileConnect for SMS campaigns, including synchronization of opt-in/opt-out data with third-party platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SFMC with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, etc.), ensuring a seamless user experience and unified customer data strategy.

• Analyze and model complex data structures, ensuring scalable and optimized database architecture that supports personalized marketing and customer engagement efforts.

• Participate in Agile development practices, contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and using tools like Jira and Confluence to manage project documentation and tasks.

• Stay informed of emerging Martech and CRM trends, contributing strategic insights to enhance digital marketing performance and customer experience initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience in SFMC development and CRM architecture.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of digital marketing ecosystems.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, data-driven solutions.

• Passion for marketing innovation and a proactive approach to staying ahead of industry trends.

What You'll Do:

• Develop | Write code that is consistent and clean both in formatting style and design with current coding practices. Review code for your peers.

• Collaborate | Work with a team of developers, designers, business analysts, QA, and project management to produce high-quality projects for large brands that you know and use.

• Deliver | Ship releases to users regularly and see your work go live early and often.

• Plan | Participate in planning for the future of your project, including estimating, scoping, and helping build a feature roadmap with your team and clients.

• Mentor | Mentor developers and associate developers on your team and help them grow.

• Influence | Grow your development craft, define best practices, and build processes that can be shared across multiple teams.

Call Notes/Updates:

This role is highly focused on the data side of things. Not Journey or email building -- more SQL / Data Extensions / SSJS side of things in support of the marketing organization.

"I will say that key to success on this is experience working on an agile team, self-directed candidate participating in standups, identifying tasks to tackle from a Jira backlog, lots of SQL and SF query experience, comfort working in an ecosystem with multiple data platforms. The work tends to be more backend and data focused than working within the SFMC platform itself but there are some requests to setup journeys or help configure triggers/journeys."

• Strong scripting and personalization utilizing SSJ (SFMC/Email Dev)

• Intermediate understanding and experience with Ampscript (SFMC/Email Dev)

• Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP) especially with Mulesoft or similar middleware (data engineering)

• Working experience of SQL (data engineering)

• Working experience of MobileConnect, integrate the Opt-In / Opt-out data with 3rd party applications. (fullstack developer)

• Working experience integrate with Salesforce CRM (Sales, Service or CPQ, etc.) (SFMC/Core solution architect)

• Experience with complex data structures, data modelling and databases (data engineering)

• Understanding of Agile practices and associated tools (Jira/Confluence) (fullstack dev)

• General understanding and a great interest in key digital marketing trends (Martech/CRM strategy)
