GMP Cleaner Position

Schedule:
Monday - Friday
4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Position Summary

The GMP Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant facility environment while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow strict cleaning procedures in a regulated environment.

Core ResponsibilitiesGeneral Cleaning Duties
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas.
  • Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, and other assigned floor care tasks.
  • Follow established daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
  • Ensure assigned areas are maintained to company and customer cleanliness standards.
GMP Cleaning Responsibilities
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) procedures while working in controlled or regulated environments.
  • Clean and sanitize production areas and sensitive spaces according to strict guidelines.
  • Use only approved cleaning chemicals, equipment, and methods to prevent contamination.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Become lift certified and safely operate equipment as required.
  • Understand and follow GMP documentation requirements.
GMP Log Sheet Completion
  • Accurately complete GMP cleaning log sheets after assigned tasks are completed.
  • Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Report any missed tasks, discrepancies, or concerns to management immediately.
Quality and Attention to Detail
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout assigned areas.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply shortages.
  • Complete corrective cleaning when areas do not meet quality expectations.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
Equipment and Supply Management
  • Properly operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including vacuums, mops, buffers, and other tools.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals.
  • Restock cleaning supplies in assigned areas as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and report any issues promptly.
Safety Compliance
  • Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
  • Properly use PPE at all times.
  • Immediately report accidents, spills, injuries, or unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to commute consistently.
  • Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
