  • Unload fruit from trucks, grade or sort fruit, and label products to ensure proper processing and packaging.

  • Ensure equipment is functioning safely, log daily activities, and set up the production area with appropriate materials.

Job description

Perricone Farms, a leading citrus juice supplier located in Beaumont, CA, is seeking a Production Technician 3 to join our team. This is a fast-paced position which offers long-term, consistent employment with a competitive benefits package, including but not limited to Health, Vision, Dental, Life and 401K.


Pay Rate: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour + $2 Differential

Shift / Hours: 3rd Shift; Monday - Saturday @ 11:00pm to 7:30am; Rotating days off, with 2 days off during the week 


Job Duties:

As a Production Technician 3, you will be responsible for and rotate through a range of job duties, including but not limited to the following primary tasks:

  • Emptying or Filling 55-gallon Drums
  • Assembling, Packing, and Stacking boxes
  • Wrapping Pallets with Shrink Wrap
  • Operating Machinery
  • Unloading Fruit from Trucks
  • “Grading” or Sorting Fruit
  • Labeling
  • Ensuring Equipment is Functioning Safely
  • Logging Activities Daily
  • Setting up Production Area with Appropriate Materials
  • General Cleaning

Drug Free Workplace:

  • Notifies supervisor of unusual problems.
  • Works in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Follows health and safety guidelines. Maintain and keep work area according to cGMP.

Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
  • Conduct all verification activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality specifications.
  • Participates in the yearly review of the food safety system.
  • Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system.
  • Responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards.

Organizational Relationships:

  • Position reports to Shift Supervisor
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful.
