Job description

ThedaCare is seeking a BC/BE Inpatient Psychiatrist to support our 19 bed general adult psychiatry unit located at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center - Neenah in Wisconsin. 

  • Provide Psychiatric consultations at all North region hospitals- (telehealth and in person)
  • On call coverage is limited and shared amongst inpatient and outpatient provider teams
  • Serve as a faculty member of the GME program and Support and supervise residents that are completing their inpatient psychiatry and consultation rotations.
  • Patient Population: Adult only, all genders, all payors and all diagnoses 
  • Top Attributes: Adaptability, strong time management skills, team player 

The Psychiatric group is part of a behavioral health division that includes; eight adult psychiatrists, ten APCs and 50 Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counselors as well as Psychology, Neuropsychology services and a Mental Health Day Treatment Program.

As part of an integrated system, support staff also helps the physician to provide excellent patient care!

The GME program, housed at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah, allow residents to refine their skills alongside our accomplished physician faculty members.

Residents will train in the Fox Cities and beyond, extending their services to our rural communities, primary care settings and post-acute clinics. This hands-on experience enriches residents’ education while also allowing them to address the health care challenges facing many populations. Through our GME program, we’re excited to shape the next generation of compassionate and skilled physicians.
