Gastroenterologist Opening – Jackson, MichiganSeeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist with ERCP certification to join a dynamic and growing GI hospital program with full support staff and strong system integration.About the Opportunity-Opportunity to join a forward-looking GI division with strong procedural support-Role includes inpatient, outpatient, rounding, and clinic-Reason for opening: program growth and one replacement hire-Average clinic volume: 1 clinic day per week, supported by APPs both in clinic and in hospital-Hospital-owned endoscopy center and outpatient clinic located on the same campus-Level II Trauma Center-Teaching opportunities available through GME program (residents and trainees)-APP support team provides in-house and clinic coverage-Affiliated care pathways with a major medical group, allowing smooth coordination and shared patient management-Proximity to Ann Arbor and Lansing (~35 minutes), Detroit (~60 minutes)Responsibilities-Perform GI consultations and procedures including ERCP-Participate in inpatient rounding, outpatient care, and clinic sessions-Apply broad knowledge to independently manage moderately complex assignments-Demonstrate understanding of clinical workflows, organizational systems, and industry best practices-May be asked to perform duties outside of standard scope as neededCandidate Parameters-Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within 1 year) or Board Certified in Gastroenterology-Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology-ERCP certification required (will consider candidates needing additional proctoring)-5–8 years of GI work experience preferred (excluding residency/fellowship)-Not accepting locums, locums-to-perm, 1099 arrangements, or candidates with lapsed certification-Not open to long-distance commuters (>1 hour) or candidates seeking alternate schedules-Open to H1B visa candidates only (not open to J1)Conditions of Employment-Must be fully vaccinated for COVID prior to credentialing (medical/religious exemption process available)-Must pass credentialing and privileging process-Must maintain board certification and licensing-Clean malpractice and license history requiredCompensation and Benefits-Competitive salary based on experience and training-wRVU incentive-Quality/metric bonus-Potential sign-on bonus-Relocation assistance (if applicable)-CME allowance-Competitive health benefits (multiple plan options)-Dental and vision coverage-Tuition assistance-Forgivable loan incentive-Retirement plan-Practice growth and marketing support-Family-forming benefits-Discount programsAdditional System Benefits-Employee-focused culture-Professional development and continuing education-Strong administrative and operational supportCall Schedule-1:6 call rotation, including some weekends
