Diesel Mechanic - Now Hiring (All Levels)

Sheehan Buick GMC
2800 N Federal Hwy, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064.

Join a dealership that takes service quality seriously and invests in your growth. We're expanding our diesel team to support a strong flow of GMC HD/Duramax, medium-duty, and fleet work. If you can diagnose fast, fix right the first time, and keep customers rolling, we want you.

What You'll Do
  • Run advanced diagnostics on diesel vehicles; interpret results and pinpoint root causes

  • Repair/replace engines, fuel systems, turbos, steering, transmissions (incl. Allison), brakes, and lighting

  • Perform preventative maintenance on service trucks and customer vehicles

  • Road-test and verify repairs; follow an inspection checklist every time

  • Maintain accurate RO notes, parts usage, and service history; keep the shop clean and organized

  • Help manage parts inventory and communicate clearly with advisors and customers

What You Bring
  • Degree/diploma in mechanical/automotive technology (or equivalent experience)

  • ASE Diesel a plus; strong electrical and IT/diagnostic tool skills

  • 3+ years hands-on mechanical experience preferred; valid driver's license required

  • Math/science aptitude; able to lift up to 150 lbs safely; master of shop tools

  • Detail-driven, organized, excellent communicator, customer-focused
