Armed Level III Security Officer

Armed Security Officer: will be responsible for manning and operating the main gate; maintaining 100% accountability of access control; monitoring surveillance cameras; patrolling property; inspecting building security; maintaining logs; assisting with testing and emergency procedures; responding to, and investigating security breaches, incidents, and alarms; reporting incidents of security and policy violations; assisting HR with personnel actions; acting as facility telephone operator, and other assigned duties.

Qualifications
  1. Must possess a valid Texas Level III or Level IV (Armed and/or Armed PPO) License
  2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  3. Must be experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office
  4. High school diploma or equivalent
  5. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  6. Must be able to endure extreme heat and cold
  7. Must be able to walk up to 4 miles during an 8-hour shift
  8. Must be OC qualified
  9. Must provide a Glock 17 or Glock 19 semiautomatic pistol.
  10. Must provide a black level III holster along with a black duty belt and OC spray with belt holder.
  11. Must qualify with a duty weapon from a holster mounted on the waistband on an annual basis
  12. 3 years of experience in security industry
