UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement At UL Research Institutes (ULRI) and UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE), we expand the boundaries of safety science to create a more secure and sustainable world. For more than a century, we have studied the unintended consequences of innovation, designed solutions to mitigate risk, created new safety standards and shared our findings with academia, scientists, manufacturers, and policymakers across industries. We identify critical safety and sustainability issues, asking the tough questions because we believe a safer world begins with knowledge.

What youโ€™ll learn and achieve:

Design, develop, test, and implement custom reports and dashboards in Workday using tools such as Workday Report Writer, Workday Report Designer, and Workday Prism Analytics. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of existing reports and dashboards by regularly reviewing and updating them. Adjust reports layouts, data sources, and calculations to enhance usability, relevance, and data integrity. Stay current with Workday updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to enhance reporting capabilities and effectively leverage new features, while maintaining strong data governance practices. Ensure the integrity and security of data used in reports and dashboards by adhering to established data governance policies and best practices. Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality through proper controls and ongoing monitoring. Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure the reliability, consistency, and accuracy of report outputs. Document report requirements, specifications and processes to support future reference, knowledge sharing, and consistent reporting practices. Provide training and support to endโ€‘users and create clear, userโ€‘friendly documentation and guides to assist with system use and understanding. Collaborate with crossโ€‘functional teams, including HR, Finance, IT, and other key stakeholders to gather requirements, align reporting with organizational goals, and ensure clear communication for issue resolution and progress updates. Document and execute routine Financeโ€‘related requests in adherence with standard change control processes. Perform other duties as directed.
