Job description

Azul is the Java company. We deliver JVM performance, security, modernization, and infrastructure solutions to many of the most demanding enterprises in the world, and our global revenue organization sells into a technically sophisticated buyer.
We have an interim need for an experienced Revenue Enablement Program Manager to lead day-to-day engagement with that revenue organization: onboarding new sellers, delivering our recurring enablement cadence, developing the content the field relies on, and maintaining the integrity of our enablement platform. This is a six-month contract role.
You will also design and build Sales Kickoff 2027 in partnership with our Revenue Enablement leader - shaping the agenda and working directly with session leaders to deliver our strongest event to date. The event takes place in February, following the close of this engagement, so the scope of this role is the design and the build rather than live delivery.
This is a hands-on execution role. Enablement strategy, measurement design, and executive enablement remain with the Revenue Enablement leader to whom this position reports. The accountability here is delivery: programs that run reliably, on schedule, and at a standard the field recognizes.
The role partners across Sales, Business Development, Channel, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, Customer Success, Renewals, Product Marketing, Product, and Revenue Operations. Few positions at Azul offer comparable exposure across the business.
What You'll Do (aka Responsibilities)
Sales Kickoff 2027 - design and build
Sales Kickoff is the largest enablement program of our year. The February 2027 event follows the close of this engagement, which means this role owns the work that determines its success: the design and the build. Responsibilities will include:
  • Partner on agenda design - defining what the revenue organization must leave the event able to do, and structuring the week to achieve it
  • Work directly with session leaders and executive presenters to develop their content: solicit and refine speaker abstracts, guide sessions from outline to final, and maintain the quality standard
  • Manage the content development cycle across a large contributor group - deck standards, copy editing, version control, and rehearsal scheduling
  • Design the post-event reinforcement plan to sustain retention of the material
  • Execute a documented handoff of the complete program, critical path, and session-leader relationships prior to the close of the engagement

New hire onboarding
  • Develop role- and region-specific onboarding plans for incoming Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and other revenue roles
  • Deliver the welcome communication, onboarding plan, and welcome kit, and enroll new hires in the appropriate standing meetings and channels
  • Conduct weekly touchpoints throughout a new hire's first month - technology stack orientation, AI tooling setup, target account development, and our prospecting motion
  • Administer our sales methodology platform, including course assignment and MEDDPICC fundamentals
  • Report on onboarding progression and product certification completion

Recurring enablement cadence
  • Coordinate and host the monthly Sales All Hands - solicit agenda topics from leadership, assemble the presentation with contributor content, develop polling questions, produce the live sessions, and publish recordings
  • Coordinate and host Power Hours, a minimum of two per month - source topics with Product Marketing, Product, and Revenue Operations, develop content with subject matter experts, facilitate, and report on engagement
  • Own calendar management and virtual event production for both programs

Content development
  • Curate and maintain the onboarding curriculum
  • Develop new courses and assets, including sales plays, seasonal programs, and Power Hour curricula

Enablement platform governance
  • Publish assets to our sales content platform with accurate metadata, tagging, and expiration dates
  • Administer the asset review and expiration cycle to ensure the field accesses only current, approved content
  • Support the monthly governance cadence with our publisher community across Marketing and Product

AI enablement delivery
  • Deliver AI enablement to the revenue organization, including individual training on tooling, connectors, and workflow automation, under the direction of the Revenue Enablement leader
  • Distribute the weekly AI briefing and report on adoption

Reporting
  • Partner with our enablement analyst on engagement, onboarding, and program reporting
  • Translate reporting into actionable insight for revenue leadership

What You'll Bring (aka Skills, Experience, Education)
Required
  • Five or more years in sales or revenue enablement, sales operations, or comparable program management within B2B technology
  • Demonstrated facilitation experience, including recurring sessions for audiences of fifty or more, with confidence presenting to a large virtual audience
  • Proven program execution discipline - recurring commitments delivered on schedule without oversight
  • Strong writing and process documentation capability. A writing sample will be requested
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience - a record of securing deliverables from stakeholders outside your reporting line and with competing priorities
  • Practical familiarity with AI tooling - experience applying an AI assistant to production work, with the ability to articulate what was built and the outcome achieved
  • Data literacy across spreadsheets, CRM reporting, and engagement analytics
  • Project management across concurrent workstreams

Preferred, and available to develop in role
Candidates who demonstrate the capabilities above will be trained on the following. These are not screening criteria.
  • Sales content platform administration (Highspot, Seismic, Showpad, or comparable)
  • Learning management or sales methodology platform administration
  • Conversation intelligence tooling such as Gong
  • MEDDPICC or Command of the Message certification
  • Instructional design or adult learning background
  • Salesforce reporting
  • Video production
  • Familiarity with Java, developer tools, or enterprise infrastructure

Outside the scope of this role
This position does not own enablement strategy, the measurement framework, executive enablement, or vendor relationships. Those responsibilities remain with the Revenue Enablement leader. We state this explicitly so that the scope is clear at the point of application.
Additional Information
WORKING HOURS AND SESSION COVERAGE
Our revenue organization is globally distributed, and our recurring sessions run twice to provide coverage: 8:00 AM Pacific and 5:00 PM Pacific. This role facilitates both.
For candidates based in the Eastern time zone, the second session represents an 8:00 PM commitment approximately two to four times per month. Azul is flexible on location and will accommodate schedule adjustments around these sessions. We state this requirement plainly at the outset.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DISTINCTIVE
  • Ownership of our largest program. You will design and build Sales Kickoff 2027 alongside our enablement leader, working directly with executives and session leaders. Many enablement roles execute a kickoff designed by others; this role architects it.
  • Breadth of scope. Onboarding, facilitation, content development, platform governance, AI enablement, and event production in a single role - the full enablement discipline rather than a narrow segment of it.
  • Direct reporting line. You report to the Revenue Enablement leader, with direct access to the decisions that shape the function.
  • An AI-forward organization. Azul's revenue organization is actively deploying AI in daily workflow. You will drive that adoption and develop substantial practical fluency in the process.
  • Organizational visibility. You will present to the full revenue organization twice monthly and establish recognition across Sales, Marketing, and Product within your first quarter.

$80 - $80 a year
This is a six month contract role, expected to work forty hours per week, at an hourly pay rate of $80.00 per hour.
What we Offer
• Comprehensive compensation and healthcare packages
• Referral Program
• Work-life balance, remote-first, paid time off, company shutdown, holidays
• Work with top experts worldwide whom contribute to the Java ecosystem
Our Culture & Values
• Maniacal Customer Focus
• Innovation & Excellence
• Initiative & Courage
• Impact & Influence
• Integrity & Transparency
• Diversity, Inclusion & Teamwork
