Key Responsibilities

EDI Implementation & Project Management

  • Lead the implementation and onboarding of EDI non-core transactions, including:
    • EDI 844 Chargeback Processing
    • EDI 849 Chargeback Responses
    • EDI 844 Resubmissions
    • EDI 845 Contract Eligibility & Pricing
  • Analyze client and supplier requirements for the electronic exchange of information and ensure compatibility between internal and external systems.
  • Manage and analyze requests for new EDI projects, interfaces, enhancements, and change requests.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, implementation schedules, risk assessments, and status reporting.
  • Coordinate testing activities, defect resolution, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.
  • Partner with EDI IT, Connectivity Support, suppliers, third-party providers, and business stakeholders to resolve implementation and production issues.
  • Participate in post-implementation support and stabilization activities.
  • Monitor implementation milestones and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into actionable reporting, dashboards, and visualization solutions.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, operational gaps, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop dashboards and reports utilizing Google Docs, BigQuery, Spanner, Looker, and other reporting tools.
  • Create KPI reporting and performance metrics to measure EDI adoption, implementation effectiveness, chargeback automation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership and business stakeholders.

Process Optimization & Process Mining

  • Collaborate with process owners and technology stakeholders across multiple business functions to identify inefficiencies and improve process execution.
  • Utilize process mining tools to analyze process performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and prioritize incoming requests for process mining enhancements and workflow optimization opportunities.
  • Develop process maps, workflow documentation, business requirements, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify automation opportunities that reduce manual effort, improve compliance controls, and enhance customer experience.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Facilitate written and verbal communication with internal and external business partners.
  • Build strong partnerships with suppliers, third-party providers, contract administration teams, and technology organizations.
  • Present project updates, operational metrics, implementation status, and improvement recommendations to leadership.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders and external business partners.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in EDI implementations, business intelligence, business analysis, process improvement, or related fields.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience supporting implementation or integration initiatives involving suppliers, customers, or third-party partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare distribution, contract administration, pricing, chargebacks, or supply chain operations.
  • Experience implementing or supporting EDI transaction sets, including:

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and change management practices.
