Job description

Our client, a leading player in the technology sector, is seeking a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician, you will be part of the Cloud Operations & Innovation department supporting vital infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Goodyear, AZ or El Mirage, AZ)
Duration: 18 Month contract
Pay Range: $24-$26 per hour
All training will be standard hours M-F 8:30-5p for the first week then consultants will move to their assigned schedule 
Front Half A Day Sun-Tues, Sun-Wed 6:30a – 6:30p 
Back Half B Day Wed-Sat, Wed-Sun 6:30a– 6:30p 
Front half A Night Sun-Tues, Sun-Wed 6:30p – 6:30a 
Back Half B Night Wed-Sat, Wed-Sun 6:30p– 6:30a 
What's the Job?

  • Perform cycle audits and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries while documenting all transactions accurately.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to initiate warranty claims and process returns on failed equipment.
  • Develop working knowledge of inventory management principles and stock control practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data management policies while handling data-bearing devices.
  • Assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies and maintaining detailed physical inventory records.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma AND 6 months experience or an internship in inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field.
  • Preferred: 2 + years’ experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment.
  • Familiarity with IT hardware, warranty claims, and return merchandise authorizations (RMA).
  • Ability to operate heavy-load movement equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
