Job Summary

PayPal is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer Analyst to join the Technology Internal Control Automation Testing Team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions for technology and security controls using Python, SQL, BigQuery, Power Automate, APIs, and cloud technologies. This role focuses on automating manual control testing, building scalable data pipelines, and creating dashboards that improve visibility into cybersecurity risks and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automated testing solutions for technology and security controls.
  • Build data pipelines to collect, transform, and process data from multiple sources.
  • Develop automation using Python, SQL, Power Automate, and cloud services.
  • Create automated control testing logic to identify exceptions and compliance gaps.
  • Build dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau for stakeholders.
  • Develop reusable, high-quality code and deploy automation using GCP, GKE, or Azure cloud functions.
  • Automate recurring operational tasks using Python scripting.
  • Develop end-to-end workflow applications using Python, databases, and Docker.
