Job description

Senior Software Engineer

Introduction: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Vue.js to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building cloud-native applications, microservices, and distributed systems. Additionally, experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and Tanzu is highly desired. The successful candidate will be responsible for modernizing software development practices by leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop backend and frontend components for complex enterprise applications
  • Implement cloud-native architecture and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Vue.js
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools to optimize software development processes
  • Collaborate with team members on agile projects, practicing TDD and pair programming
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases to support application functionality
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitHub
Requirements:Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience in software development
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Vue.js
  • Experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and Tanzu
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native applications, microservices, and distributed systems
  • Knowledge of Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines
