Job Description

As a Platform Engineering Intern at ATPCO, you will support the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and platform engineering teams in enhancing enterprise security, automating workflows, and delivering robust user management solutions across our cloud infrastructure. You'll gain hands-on experience with customer identity platforms like Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), AWS IAM, and automation tools while working alongside experienced engineers and cybersecurity professionals. 

You will: 

  • Contribute to the development and automation of IAM solutions using Python, Java, and Go. 

  • Support integration of Azure B2C for secure external identity management across enterprise APIs and applications. 

  • Build scripts and tools to automate identity provisioning, RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), and policy enforcement. 

  • Participate in troubleshooting authentication/authorization issues across multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). 

  • Assist with IAM governance tasks, including MFA policy design, conditional access, and privileged identity controls. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve documentation, streamline onboarding processes, and monitor IAM systems. 

  • Create dashboards and logs for identity audit, system performance, and security event tracking. 

The Ideal Candidate: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

  • Strong foundation in IAM principles and secure identity workflows. 

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure B2C, or AWS IAM. 

  • Familiar with Python, Java, and/or Go for scripting and automation. 

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a quick learner with an interest in cloud security and platform engineering. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Terraform, or scripting in PowerShell. 

  • Previous project work or internships involving IAM or cybersecurity incident response.
