Job Summary

The GIS Developer will support the Office of Security by developing and maintaining GIS data used to map and manage security camera assets across facilities. The role involves integrating GIS and non-GIS data sources to support enterprise video systems, incident dashboards, and other security-focused geospatial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, catalog, and validate agency-wide GIS data, including security camera locations
  • Perform georeferencing of floorplans, as-builts, and other non-GIS drawings
  • Develop and maintain GIS datasets and data warehouses linked to video management systems
  • Support GIS-based security dashboards, incident tracking, and mapping requests
  • Collaborate with GIS teams and security stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with ESRI ArcGIS (ArcGIS Pro preferred)
  • 2+ years of GIS ETL and georeferencing experience
  • Experience with ArcGIS REST APIs and tools (e.g., StoryMaps)
  • Familiarity with CAD, BIM, and KML/KMZ file formats
  • Working knowledge of SQL and geospatial analysis
  • Strong communication skills; proficiency with MS Office (Visio preferred)
