Adjunct Faculty Member - Geospatial Intelligence (GIS)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Adjunct Faculty Member to teach Geospatial Intelligence courses. This part-time teaching position requires expertise in geospatial intelligence technologies and methodologies, as well as a commitment to fostering student success and engagement in a dynamic academic environment.

Responsibilities

As an Adjunct Faculty Member for the Universityโ€™s GIS program, your responsibilities will include:

ยท Delivering high-quality instruction in geospatial intelligence concepts, theories, and practices.

ยท Teaching courses that may include topics such as geospatial technology, analytical methods, spatial data visualization, GIS applications, and remote sensing.

ยท Developing and updating course content to reflect current trends and advancements in geospatial intelligence.

ยท Designing assignments, assessments, and projects that enhance students' analytical and practical skills in geospatial technology.

ยท Providing timely feedback and mentoring students to support their academic progress.

ยท Collaborating with other faculty members to ensure interdisciplinary integration and curriculum alignment.

ยท Staying current with advancements in geospatial intelligence and incorporating modern tools or software into the curriculum.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
