Job description

Job Title

PM/Engineer hybrid will need to:

  • Oversee and organize a remote work team of 2-3 engineers to track and maintain progress within a timeline in completing essential platform modules and data reporting techniques while coordinating set up for future add on projects and platform modules.
  • Report to and work with stakeholders for management of progress, cost, difficulties, delays, etc.
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings as well as DevOps meetings; and be available to interact ad hoc with the team.
  • Participate in the development of the platform's modules and reporting as well as future projects.
  • Most importantly, will communicate effectively with product stakeholders and convert those requests into stories/tasks that the developers can pick up to achieve feature complete.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience with JIRA, or other project management platforms
  • Must have deep knowledge of Agile practices
  • PMP Certification
  • Prior experience working within and/or managing a team from remote locations is a plus

As a Developer, this individual should have experience with the following technologies/platforms:

  • Python
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • ORMs (Preference in Odoo, Django, others are ok)
  • Some JavaScript
  • Cloud Provider (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
