Weston & Sampson is currently looking for a Project Engineer within our Water/Wastewater group with 4-6 years of experience to work in our Greenville, SC office.

What youโ€™ll do:

  • Preparing utility designs including preparation of plans and specifications for permitting and construction for water distribution and wastewater collection projects, such as water mains, gravity sewers, wastewater pump stations, storage tanks.
  • Perform hydraulic modeling to assist in water and wastewater planning and design efforts.
  • Assisting in preparing water and wastewater master planning studies.
  • Assisting in construction administration of water distribution and wastewater collection system projects.
  • Flexible workload, diverse projects, and working well with multiple staff members including delegating work to entry level staff.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelorโ€™s in Civil/Environmental Engineering
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, REVIT (preferred)
  • PE is preferred or ability to become licensed within twelve (12) months
  • Experience in dealing with multiple projects and clients along with managing technical, budgetary and client aspects of projects
  • Strong writing and verbal communications skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong work ethic
  • A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning as new tasks are assigned and new projects are undertaken
  • Valid driverโ€™s license
